Make your life easier and do a quick check throughout the house to turn on any essential appliances at the wall. These could include the fridge, freezer, electric toothbrushes, charging ports, and so on. And of course the coffee maker—you’re definitely going to need that the next morning!

5. Meet The Neighbours And Explore
Now, the fun part starts! Start getting to know your neighbourhood and the people in it. Drop by your immediate neighbours to introduce yourself. Plus, if you have kids, meeting other children in the neighbourhood is a great step to feeling settled.
