Every year, this vital service keeps people on the lake safe, and saves lives. It's a great cause. The service relies solely on volunteers, who spend hundreds of hours training and on active duty every year.

Each year, Coastguard Lake Taupō responds to over 20 rescue call outs, saving lives and keeping visitors and locals safe while they enjoy the lake.
