CELEBRATE YOUR ANNIVERSARY BONUS

Each year on your Mercury anniversary, you’ll unlock a bonus Free Power Day that you can redeem within four months. Plus, the longer you’ve been with us, the more Free Power Days you'll enjoy.

  • If you’ve been with us for one or two years, you’ll unlock one anniversary Free Power Day.
  • If you’ve been with us for three or four years, you’ll unlock two anniversary Free Power Days.
  • If you’ve been with us for five or more years, you’ll unlock three anniversary Free Power Days.

Where can I find app challenge competition winners?

You can find rewards competition winners on our website. View app challenge winners.

How do I view my points balance?

You can view your points balance on your rewards dashboard in My Account via our app or website.

Do points expire? Yes, unused points expire 12 months after they’re earned and always expire on the last day of the month. If you have points approaching expiry, you can still choose a Free Power Day date in the next 12 months.

Once points expire, they’ll show in your points history. You can view this from your rewards dashboard in My Account via our app or website.
I’ve paid my bill, when will I get my points?
When you're opted in to rewards, you'll earn one point for every $1 paid on time on eligible accounts.

  • If your payment matches the amount due, points can take up to seven days to be applied to your rewards. 

  • If you pay more than the amount due, the extra amount becomes account credit. Points are applied to your rewards once that credit is used on a future bill or charge. For example: if your bill is $190 and you pay $200, $190 is applied to your current bill and $10 becomes account credit. Points for the full $200 are applied once the $10 credit is used on your next bill.

  • If you prefer to pay the same amount each week or fortnight, SmoothPay might suit you better. You can earn points regularly, even if your payment doesn't match your bill. Learn more about SmoothPay.
Can I change the date of my Free Power Day? You can change the date of your booked Free Power Day from your rewards dashboard before it starts. Under YOUR REWARDS, select the Free Power Day you've booked to make the change. View how-to guide.
Why can't I see my anniversary Free Power Day? You can view your anniversary bonus details anytime on your rewards dashboard in My Account via our app or website.

When it's the beginning of your anniversary month, your anniversary Free Power Day will show under YOUR REWARDS. It must be redeemed within four months, but you can book it for any date in the next 12 months.

If you don't redeem your anniversary Free Power Day within four months, it will expire and no longer be available.
