Mercury has won the Reader’s Digest Gold Quality Service Award in the Internet Service Providers category this year.

The awards recognise New Zealand companies with the best customer service in their industry, as voted by the public.

Companies are measured against key pillars like personalisation, understanding, simplicity, satisfaction, and consistency.
Mercury Executive General Manager – Customer Service, Moa Haar-Simmonds says she’s delighted to receive the award.

“This award means a lot because it comes directly from the people who use our services every day. It’s a testament to the care our teams put into understanding customer needs, simplifying their experience, and delivering with consistency. We’re honoured to be recognised for putting customers first.”

Mercury has 215,000 customers who enjoy more than one service (electricity, broadband, mobile and gas) and has recently reached a significant milestone of 150,000 fibre connections throughout New Zealand.

What Mercury customers told Readers Digest about their service:

  • “The best we have had, fast easy, professional, empathetic, polite and outcome-focused. All about the customer and their needs 100% recommend.”

  • “I switched to Mercury Broadband 3 months back and the whole process was easy and efficient.”

  • “All over great network and prices and good connection combos.”

  • “Good prices with added combos and good immediate connection with strong signal at all times.”
