On our fibre broadband plans eero routers are available to add to your plan.On our wireless broadband plans, we'll supply you with either a Futura Modem or a Smart Modem 2. This may be a refurbished router. A postage and handling fee of $14.95 applies for delivery.
Can I use my own router?
If you are signing up for a wireless broadband plan, you'll need to use the router supplied by Mercury. For our fibre plans, there is the option to use your own router but there are some important things to consider if you choose to do this.What is a refurbished router?
You may receive a refurbished wireless router when you sign up for one of our wireless broadband plans. A refurbished router is a device that has been used before but has been thoroughly tested, cleaned, and restored to ensure it performs like new. By reusing quality hardware, we reduce electronic waste and make a more sustainable choice for the environment.How do I return my loaned wireless broadband router?
If you upgrade your broadband connection to a fibre service, or cancel your wireless broadband service, you'll need to return your wireless router to us. A return bag will be sent out to you. Please include all accessories (power adaptor and cables.)Can I add a landline?
We offer landline services for both fibre and wireless broadband.How do the Endless Data mobile plans work?
Endless Data mobile plans let you keep using mobile data at a reduced speed of 1.2Mbps after you’ve used up your monthly data allowance. You’ll stay connected at this lower speed, but activities like video streaming and loading web pages may be slower or show lower resolution.How do the Rollover Data mobile plans work?
Our Rollover Data plans allow data to rollover for 12 months and have capped minutes – these capped minutes do not rollover if unused. All our plans have unlimited texts.
