We’ve put together the following terms and conditions which you agree to by entering our "Late Winter Warmer” promotion (the “Promotion”):
One winner will be drawn from each of the three prize draw
5. You're automatically entered into the draw for each service type you hold with us. Electricity and gas both sit under Energy, so if you have both, you'll get one entry into the Energy draw. For example, if you have electricity, gas, broadband and mobile, you'll be in all three draws with one entry each.
6. All accounts eligible at any time during the Promotion Period will go into the draw, provided the customer holds the service with Mercury at 18 September 2026. Exclusions apply. Accounts with an overdue balance, or where notice to leave Mercury has been given, are not eligible. Mercury staff are excluded from this promotion.
7. The three winners will be randomly drawn on Tuesday 22 September at the Mercury office (33 Broadway, Newmarket) and the winners will be notified by telephone and/or email using the information provided on the winner’s Mercury account within 7 days of the prize draw.

9. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Prizes cannot be used in combination with any other prize competitions, promotions or discounts.
10. You may not designate someone else as the winner. If you are unable or unwilling to accept your prize, Mercury may award it to an alternate winner.
11. If you accept a prize, you will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes related to accepting the prize.
12. If for any reason an advertised prize is unavailable, Mercury may substitute the advertised prize for another prize which has approximately the same recommended retail price.
13. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, servers or providers, or any combination thereof. Nor is it responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Promotion, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Promotion.
15. Mercury’s decision in relation to the winner, or any other aspect of this Promotion, is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. If you win a prize, you agree to participate in publicity generated by Mercury (or Mercury’s marketing partners), and agree to the use of your name, address and photo for promotional purposes.
17. You are providing your information to Mercury and not to Meta. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta. You completely release Meta from any and all liability in connection with this Promotion.
18. At Mercury, we are committed to protecting your privacy. Mercury will collect and use your details for the purposes of running this Promotion. If you opt-in, Mercury may also use your details to send you marketing and promotional material. You can access or request correction of your details by emailing privacy@mercury.co.nz. Mercury’s privacy policy will apply.
19. Mercury NZ Limited is the promoter of this Promotion and may modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Mercury reserves the right to cancel, suspend or change the Promotion or any element of the Promotion for any reason, including any cancellation, suspension or change necessitated by any event outside of Mercury’s control.
