By taking part in our Password’s on the back competition ("Promotion"), you’ll go in the draw to win one of three prizes of 12 months of free Broadband or 1 of 3 Samsung Flip Phones or 1 of 2 Samsung Galaxy tablets. By entering this Promotion, you agree to the following terms and conditions: :
1. To enter this Promotion, you must be aged 18 years or over. You’ll need to be an existing Mercury customer or join Mercury as a new customer to be eligible to claim the free Broadband prize.
2. To enter the Promotion, access the Free Wi-Fi at our promotional locations listed below in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, complete the form and submit, from June 10th – July 7th 2024 (the “Promotion Period”) and you will receive 1 entry to win.
2.1 Bus Stop Locations - Auckland (64 Khyber Pass Road, Commerce Street), Christchurch (Countdown Madras Street) and Wellington (324 Oriental Parade and Molesworth Street Lambton Quay).
2.2 Billboard location in Auckland (2-8 Anzac Ave).
3. There is a maximum of one entry per person.
THE PRIZE - BROADBAND:
4. You will get a credit on your broadband supply invoices, each month for 12 consecutive months, up to a maximum of $121 per month. Depending on your billing cycle, this credit may be processed and applied on a different cycle to your monthly bill. The credit will only apply to broadband charges and exclude the purchase of any Mercury routers, listed below in ‘Router details’, or any other charges. If a Mercury router is selected, this charge will appear on your first broadband bill. If your broadband charges are greater than $121 per month you must pay the additional charges.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS – BROADBAND:
5. If you aren’t a current Mercury customer, you will need to apply to join Mercury. If your application is accepted you will need to select one of Mercury's unlimited naked fibre broadband plans on a 1 year fixed term offer
I. FibreClassic at $106 per month; or
II. FibreMax at $121 per month; and
III.If Fibre broadband is not available in your area then the next available wireless broadband will be offered up to the value of $121per month with a free router.
6. Please note this does not include a landline and Mercury does not offer static IP addresses.

7. Unless you bring your own router, you will need to purchase one of Mercury's routers to access Mercury broadband:
I. eero 6+ ($120)
II. eero 6+ - 2 pack ($240)
III. eero 6+ – 3 pack ($360)
8. The charge for the router you select will appear on your first broadband bill.
9. Mercury's General Residential Terms and Conditions and Phone & Broadband Terms will apply to the supply of broadband.
OTHER CONDITIONS
10. Sounds obvious, but if you switch to another retailer during the 12 month period when Mercury is applying the credits, you will not be able to claim any remaining credits.
11. You can’t sign up to any other Mercury offer during the 12 month period.
THE PRIZE- SAMSUNG DEVICES:
12. 5 lucky runner up winners will win either 1 of 3 Samsung Flip Phones OR 1 of 2 Samsung Galaxy tablets.
13. The Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason we unfortunately can’t provide the Prize, we’ll give you another prize of the same (or greater) value.
14. Delivery of the Prize will be arranged to your address within 15 working days of these terms being accepted. We will need to share your details with third parties for the purpose of delivering the prize.
PICKING THE WINNERS
15. We want this Promotion to be fair for everyone, so if any entries are incomplete, illegible, ‘hacked’ or look fraudulent, then we may not be able to accept your entry into the Promotion.
PRIVACY
16. The prize winner and runner ups (x5) will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries within ten working days of the end of the Promotion Period.
17. If you are our lucky broadband winner or runner ups (x5), we’ll notify you by email within 10 days of the prize draw via phone or email using the contact details are provided.
18. We will do our best to contact you if you are the winner, but if we can’t get in touch with you within 10 days of the prize draw, we may redraw the prize and award it to someone else.
19. We’re committed to protecting your privacy. We’ll only collect and use your details for the purposes of running this Promotion, including to ask you to participate in an online survey after the Promotion.
20. To access or correct your details, get in touch with us. Mercury’s privacy policy will apply.
21. If you win this prize, you agree to participate in any publicity generated by Mercury, and agree to the use of your first name and location for promotional purposes. You agree that Mercury can use footage and photography captured of you for promotional or advertising purposes. We love sharing good news!.

22. Mercury NZ Limited is the promoter of this Promotion. By entering, your information will only be used by Mercury – we won’t share this with Facebook or Instagram. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram so Facebook and/or Instagram will not be liable to you for any reason.
23. We do our best to make all of our promotions wonderful, but sometimes things can go wrong. However, if something does go wrong, Mercury and its suppliers will not be liable to you for any loss or damage (including personal injury) that you might suffer through participating (or not participating) in the Promotion or winning (or not winning) any prize.
24. Occasionally, things happen which are outside of Mercury’s control and we may have to change or cancel the Promotion or these terms and conditions.
