Rotokawa geothermal station is located on the Rotokawa geothermal field, 14km northeast of Taupō. It is a combined cycle plant.

The station is owned by Mercury. Tauhara North No.2 Trust has a 35% stake in the Rotokawa steamfield.

When commissioned in 1997, the capacity was 25 MW. In 2003, a 6MW turbine was added and a further 3 MW has been added since then.
