Dairy Farming Move season ‘$100 ICP credit’

Terms & Conditions for dairy farmers

  1. The move season credit offer is available to current Mercury rural customers, rural customers switching to Mercury and current Mercury customers switching additional ICPs to Mercury from other providers, who visit the Move online portal or call the Mercury commercial team before 30 June 2016 to tell us the address of the new property you’re moving to.
     
  2. Each customer (farm/agribusiness) who is moving farms will be eligible for a credit of $100 per ICP switched to Mercury during this period, to a maximum of $400.
     
  3. Credit can be redeemed by visiting mercury.co.nz/move or calling the Mercury commercial team on 0800 20 18 20 to inform Mercury of your move.
     
  4. Customer credit will be applied on or before your second Mercury bill.
     
  5. By submitting your details at mercury.co.nz/move you are informing Mercury of your move and will be contacted directly by a Mercury commercial agent.
     
  6. Monthly meter reading is available provided we can access your meter.
     
  7. Fixing or re-fixing your rates applies to Energy Charges only, which are Mercury charges and make up the majority of your monthly bill. Mercury reserves the right to pass on the forecast effect of any future changes to the Government’s Emissions Trading Scheme, any changes to Service Fees (see www.mercury.co.nz/servicefees), and any adjustments to Other Charges (made up of distribution and other lines company charges, and government imposed taxes, fees and/or levies). Details of these Charges are set out in our Fixed Energy Price Agreement.
     
  8. The Deferred Winter Payment Option is available to you if you bill your energy charges through your Fonterra Farm Source account and means you can defer payment of your June to September bills to October, payment due in November. You will still receive a statement and be entitled to your existing discounts over this period. Full Deferred Winter Payment Option terms and conditions can be viewed here.
     
  9. If you are a Fonterra Farm Source customer you can earn Farm Source dollars by billing your electricity through your Farm Source account (see www.nzfarmsource.co.nz).
     
  10. This Deal is also subject to Mercury’s Standard Terms and Conditions for Business Customers.
