We've been a proud supporter of IRONMAN NZ since 2005. Each year, our army of 2,000 Mercury Volunteers make Taupō the best race day in the world.

The trails showcase the native bush, historic landmarks and wetlands along the Waikato River.

COASTGUARD

We’ve been supporting Coastguard Lake Taupō since 2008, a highly valued service for the local community.

NATIONAL KIWI HATCHERY

We're proud to support the National Kiwi Hatchery since 2019 in their mission to save kiwi. We've funded a new solar setup to help keep the kiwi's home warm and safe.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES

We support the Ronald McDonald Houses in Southland and Christchurch, providing a home away from home for the families of children receiving treatment.

WAIKATO CATCHMENT ECOLOGICAL ENHANCEMENT TRUST

Through our long-standing partnership with the Waikato Catchment Ecological Enhancement Trust (WCEET), we’re helping to protect and enhance the ecology and biodiversity of Lake Taupō and the Waikato River.

Over the past 13 years, WCEET in partnership with Mercury, has worked on hundreds of projects to the value of $5.5m. Learn more about the WCEET.
