Turning water into gold

Long-term partnership is in our DNA and we’ve been working with Rowing New Zealand since 1998. Our support has powered our elite rowing athletes to 44 World Championship and Olympic gold medals (so far).

Rowing New Zealand has released the list of athletes selected for Elite and Under-23 Rowing NZ trials. Congratulations to those selected and to Robbie Manson and Zoe McBride, the new single scull national champions named at the 2017 New Zealand Rowing Championships in Twizel!

World Class Facilities

Our world class rowing facility on Karapiro hydro lake is the home of Rowing New Zealand. We control lake levels to give New Zealand rowers the best possible training facility no matter the conditions.

The training ground for elite athletes and junior rowers, Karapiro is the most northern of our eight hydro lakes and nine stations on the Waikato River.
