Every year kids from across New Zealand are in hospital over
Christmas and aren't able to celebrate the holidays at home with their family
and friends. We need your students' help to bring Christmas cheer to
patients at Starship Children's Hospital by decorating a star in the Mercury
Energy Stars for Starship schools competition
For the past ten years thousands of Kiwi kids have been
transforming blank cardboard stars into magical Christmas decorations to
brighten up the hospital - and we'd love to see your students' designs on
Starship's Christmas tree this year.

22 October
It's easy - and free - to take part, simply order your stars
by following the link below and completing the online order form no later than
5pm Friday 22 October.
Within two weeks, you'll receive blank stars for your pupils
to decorate in any way they like. Once complete, you select the best six star
designs and return them to us for judging. Every entry submitted will be used
to decorate Starship in time for their annual Christmas party and the most
creative designs will win fantastic prizes.

Help make the Hospital
shine!
In 2009 we sent out over 150,000 blank cardboard stars to over
570 schools from across New Zealand to help transform the hospital. To
celebrate our tenth year of lighting up the Hospital for Christmas we want to
make Mercury Energy Stars for Starship
even bigger and brighter in 2010!
So dig out the glitter and glue, order your stars now and get
decorating!
