Special Conditions - Choose your Bill Payment Date

1. Participation. Participation in this option is upon application and is at Mercury Energy's sole discretion. Mercury Energy may, for any reason, withdraw this option from any customer by written notice, following which all subsequent invoices shall be payable by the standard payment date (i.e., 21 days after the date of the invoice).
    
2. Choosing a day. Customers may choose any day between the 1st and the 28th (inclusive) of the month as their monthly payment date.
    
3. Payment due date. The due date for payment of each invoice will be the chosen date following the invoice date, provided there is a minimum of 14 days notice. If less than 14 days, payment will be due on the chosen date the following month. If in any month the date chosen falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, the invoice will be payable by the next working day.
    
4. Changing the day. Customers may change their chosen payment day by written notice to Mercury Energy. Any requested change will apply to the next invoice issued after the request has been processed. One change per year will be accepted free of charge. A $25 (plus GST) administration fee will be charged for each additional change.
    
5. Prompt Payment Discount. The expiry date for the Prompt Payment Discount (where applicable) will be the same date as the chosen payment date.
    
6. Outstanding amounts. Mercury Energy may require payment of any outstanding amounts before allowing participation in this option.
    
7. Collateral invoices. Depending on the billing cycle and the payment date chosen, participation in this option may from time to time result in invoices covering consecutive periods being payable in the same month.
