Stars for Starship Terms and Conditions 2011
1. The competition prize is 10 tickets to a VIP screening of The Adventures of Tintin during the week commencing 19 December 2011. There will be 50 prize packs of 10 tickets to give away.
2. Each winner will receive 10 VIP tickets to a screening in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch as appropriate to the winner. All travel expenses to screenings are to be covered by the winners. If, prior to receiving the prize tickets, winners notify Mercury Energy by no later than Friday 16 December that they are unable to make the VIP screening on the allocated day, Mercury Energy will instead provide complimentary standard movie tickets to a local cinema of Mercury Energy’s choice.
3. Entry to the competition is open to anyone residing in New Zealand who decorates a star and uploads a photo of it on to the Mercury Energy Facebook page before midnight on 11 December 2011.
4. The winner(s) will be the 50 people whose stars receive the most votes on the Mercury Facebook page by midnight 11 December 2011.
5. The winners’ names, star decoration photos and city/town details may be used for reasonable publicity associated with the competition including, but not limited to, the Mercury Energy website, Mercury Energy Facebook page and Mercury Energy’s Twitter account. E-mail addresses of the winners may be used by Mercury for reasons such as follow-up and research e-mails (but not limited to these purposes alone).
6. Mercury Energy does not promote the use of Facebook by children aged under Facebook’s recommended age restriction level. Parents should assist their children in the process of uploading their star.
7. Mercury Energy's decision in relation to the prize draw (including but not limited to eligibility) shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The winner(s) will be drawn on Monday 12 December and notified by phone. If the winner(s) is unable to be contacted within 3 attempts, Mercury Energy reserves the right to choose another winner(s).
9. Staff of Mercury Energy and their immediate family are not eligible to enter the draw.
10. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
11. Mercury Energy reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time for any reason.
