Triple Challenge:
Be aware that there is an early termination fee of $100 which is payable if you leave Mercury before 1 October, 2012. The $100 credit will be applied to the second bill.
Here’s what you need to know about the Grand Prize Pool.
The “Grand Prize Pool Competition” refers to the draw to win the Grand Prize of $25,000, through any or all of the four promotions Mercury Energy is running. The opening and closing dates of each promotion are described below.
HOW TO ENTER
1. Enter the Grand Prize Pool Competition through any of the following promotions:
a. Movie Club promotion – www.mercurymovieclub.co.nz. The Movie Club promotion starts at 9am on 1 August 2011 and closes at 5pm on 1 July 2012. Entries received before or after this promotion period will not be accepted;
b. Perks promotion – www.mercuryperks.co.nz. The Perks promotion starts at 9am on 1 June 2011 and closes at 5pm on 1 July 2012. Entries received before or after this promotion period will not be accepted;
c. Mercury Three Year Fixed promotion – this promotion starts at 9am on 16 June 2011 and closes at 5pm on 1 July 2012. Entries received before or after this promotion period will not be accepted;
d. Mercury Cool promotion. The Mercury Cool promotion starts at 9am on 1 September 2011 and closes at 5pm on 1 July 2012. Entries received before or after this promotion period will not be accepted.
e. The Mercury Triple Challenge promotion – this promotion starts at 9am on 10 August 2011 and closes at 5pm on 1 July 2012. Entries received before or after this promotion period will not be accepted.
2. Each entry must be valid according to the requirements of the particular promotion.
ENTRY
1. By entering this Competition, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions for the Competition.
2. The Competition is only open to ‘Eligible Entrants’, being individuals who:
a. have correctly entered the Competition through any of the Mercury Energy promotions listed above and according to the terms for entry into the particular promotion; and;
b. are not employees of Mercury Energy or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with this Competition.
THE DRAW
1. The “Grand Prize” consists of one prize of $25,000 cash for which there will be one winner.
2. The Grand Prize draw will take place on 4 July 2012. Entries for each of the promotions closes on 1 July 2012 or as otherwise set out in each of the promotions terms and conditions.
3. The Grand Prize will be awarded to the Eligible Entrant, by no later than 11 July 2012.
4. Mercury Energy’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
GENERAL
1. Mercury Energy reserves the right to use the winner’s name, city, town and photo for publicity purposes associated with the Competition.
2. Mercury Energy reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time for any reason. You agree that you will be bound by such changes and that you will not hold Mercury Energy liable for any losses resulting from any such changes.
3. If you accept the prize, you will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes related to accepting the prize.
4. To the extent permitted by law, Mercury Energy and its agencies will not be held liable to you for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever, including personal injury, which is suffered as a result of , or arising from, your participation in the Competition or winning (or not winning)
any prize.
TRIPLE CHALLENGE ENTRY
1. The Triple Challenge promotion period commences on 10 August 2011 and ends on 1 July 2012.
All valid entries submitted during this period will go into the draw for the Grand Prize.
2. There are two ways to enter this promotion to go in the draw to win the Grand Prize. Either;
a. Call 0800 677 845 to get a power quote. You must have your bill handy; or
b. Go online to mercury.co.nz/triplechallenge and submit a quote.
