Application Acceptance Criteria
Before accepting you as a customer, we need to check that you meet our acceptance criteria.
- your property must be in an area Mercury Energy services;
- you must provide us with evidence of your tenancy or occupation of the property, if requested;
- your meter configuration must be acceptable to Mercury Energy; and
- you must meet our credit criteria.
In some cases, before accepting you as a customer, we may ask for a Bond or require you to use a pre-pay meter solution. The circumstances in which a Bond may be required are set out in clause 10 of our terms and conditions.
