A vulnerable consumer is someone, who for the reasons of age, health or disability,
the disconnection of electricity presents a clear threat to their or a member of their
household’s health or wellbeing.
To notify us of a vulnerable consumer please complete and submit the
Vulnerable Consumer Form,
or call our Customer Services Team on 0800 10 18 10.

Medical Dependency
A medical dependency is when you are dependant on electricity for critical medical support.
Customers who have a medical dependency are encouraged to fill
out our a medical dependency form, or call our Customer Services Team on 0800 63 00 01.
You will need to have the medical dependency form certified by a medical
practitioner.

District Health Board
If you are a member of a District Health Board (DHB) and want to notify
us of someone who is dependant on electricity for critical medical support, please

Financial Hardship
