Our amazing new service will make sure that each year your Mercury Energy
electricity bills are as small as they can be.
Mercury Energy's new Price Plan Rebate service is designed to make sure you
never pay more for your Mercury Energy residential electricity than you have
to.

The new service is unique to Mercury Energy and will:

ensure you are on Mercury's best available residential plan based on your usage
over the previous 12 months, and |
 |
 |
|
| |
 |
credit your account with any amount you have overpaid if you have not been on
the best plan. |

How it works
Every year Price Plan Rebate will review the residential price plan you are on,
based on your actual energy usage at the same property over the previous twelve
months*. If it turns out that you have not been on the best plan for your
energy usage and have therefore paid too much we'll credit your account with
the difference. Simple as that.
Price Plan Rebate will also recommend the best Mercury Energy Residential
pricing plan for the coming year. If you agree, you won't have to do a thing,
you'll automatically go onto the recommended plan.
If you believe that your energy usage may change significantly in the coming
year, you can choose a different plan. We'll still check your plan again the
following year, and if it turns out to be wrong we'll credit your account any
difference between what you've paid and the best Mercury Energy plan for your
electricity usage.
Why it's a great service
Every year more than 12% of people will find that their electricity usage has
changed to the point that a different plan would have been better for them.
Depending on the network area your home is in, up to three price plans may be
available. Choosing the best plan for your needs can be confusing but as a
Mercury Energy customer you no longer have to worry - it's all taken care of
for you.

Price Plan Rebate date
Everyone will have an individual Price Plan Rebate date. You can find out when
your review will take place in the My Account
section of the website or by calling our Customers Service Centre on 0800 10 18
10. If you are not yet registered for My Account, click the button
below.

You will receive the outcome of your Price Plan Rebate review with your first
Mercury Energy bill after your Price Plan Rebate date. This will tell you your
usage for the last 12 months, whether you'll receive a rebate (and how much it
will be) and the best plan for you. If for some reason we haven't been able to
access your meter, you'll receive your Price Plan Rebate with the next bill
based on an actual meter reading.

Terms and Conditions
* If you move properties, your Price Plan Rebate date will be revised and will
be approximately 14 months after you move into your new property. Reviews will
not be undertaken more than once in a 12 month period for each property.
The Price Plan Rebate service only applies to residential customers who are on a
validated price plan. There will be some instances where a customer will not
qualify for Price Plan Rebate when they are on an incorrect price plan due to
incorrect or unavailable information about their capacity, metering
configuration or property classification. These customers will be contacted
directly and moved to the correct plan before the Price Plan Rebate process
will occur.
