Dear Star Supporter,

Bring on the fairy bread and party hats! It’s the Star Supporters Club’s 5th birthday and we’re celebrating five years of caring for Starship kids.

My name is Lucy Lawless. I’m a Mercury Energy customer and Starship Foundation Trustee. Five years ago, I became the very first Mercury Energy customer to join an exciting initiative called the Mercury Energy Star Supporters Club.

Our first project was fundraising $160,000 for an advanced x-ray unit. The chance to make a real difference to Starship kids must have captured customers’ hearts, because we blasted to this target and have been shooting for the stars ever since.

Today 13,300 Mercury Energy customers have joined the Club and together we’ve raised $1.19 million for Starship kids. That’s $1.19 million of lifesaving new treatment facilities and many millions more in smiles for Starship families and staff.

On behalf of Starship kids, I’d like to personally wish the Star Supporters Club a very happy 5th birthday. We’ve achieved so much in our first five years – and with your continued support there are no limits to our success.
