I have an extensive background in energy consulting, spanning more than 20 years. In that time, I've worked closely with a variety of industrial and commercial energy users. My focus is helping our customers get the most out of Mercury Energy's products and services - and to effectively manage the risks involved in purchasing electricity.

I’ve been working within service industries for over 15 years, now - both here in New Zealand and the UK. My experience in banking, insurance and utilities across residential and commercial markets, has shown me that most people simply want the job done right, at a reasonable price. Naturally, they want to be kept in the loop with the things that matter, and have access to the right tools to solve their problems. It's these needs I strive to fulfil in my day-to-day work.

I first started at Mercury in 2001 as an Account Manager. Having enjoyed the challenges of the role, I continued in the same position when I returned some years later. I pride myself on my ability to build strong relationships, which I believe is key to customer satisfaction. Over time, I've developed the prowess to manage high-level strategic queries, which I find particularly rewarding.

Understanding rural customer's unique needs is at the heart of my role with Mercury Energy. My background in rural properties and marketing, while living on a lifestyle block, has really given me an edge over our competitors. My focus is communicating the distinct benefits of our farming plans, and helping customers to optimise their savings. While I’m on the road, I also ensure farmers' feedback and needs are conveyed to our management team in our pursuit to continually improve our farming products, offering first-rate advice and a premium service.
